The Meditation Garden was opened and used for the first time for Easter Sunrise Services in 2004.
Since that time the garden has been used for memorial services and weddings. Forty people can be comfortably seated on folding chairs on the grassed areas, and the pathways provide room for many more standing.
A time capsule which has now been placed into the entrance column of the garden is to to be opened on the occasion of the church's celebration of its 50th anniversary at the Taylor Road location in 2038.
Memorial bricks can always be purchased to add to the walkway, and will fund addition garden projects.
