Family Promise

Family Promise is a temporary housing assistance program for displaced families.  Participating families reside at First Christian Church for one week each quarter and are provided a private room, meals, fellowship and support as they pursue future opportunities. Volunteers assist with setting up temporary bedrooms, preparing meals, serving as hosts, and coordinating activities. •     Serves an average of two families for week-long stays four times a year.
•     Each week requires an average of 25 volunteer positions.
