Drama Team
Living Last Supper 2009
One of the ways FCC worships God is through the art of drama. Church members use their dramatic talents to express orally and visually scenes that carry a biblical message. Whether through a single performer who recreates scenes from the life of Jesus, or a large group recreating a scene from the Last Supper, interested members are invited to get involved. Calls go out in advance for volunteers to help with production by making costumes, designing and building sets, serving as members of the stage crews, publicizing the performances, and of course, performing as actors and extras.
The major production that the drama team undertakes each year is The Living Last Supper with the help of the Chancel Choir. Through drama and song, the story of Jesus' final meal with his disciples is retold. The Living Last Supper has become an annual production, presented the Thursday before Easter Sunday. It is free and open to the community.
