Christians for Critters
Christians for Critters is one way First Christian pays tribute to our four-legged friends. Once a quarter we collect food and other pet supplies for three county Humane Societies. In order to be good stewards of our natural resources, the weekly church bulletins are collected in recycle bins after services and are shredded and donated as litter for pet kennels. Volunteers assist with shredding paper, promoting pet supply donations, and sorting and delivering supplies to local animal shelters. June 2010 was our first collection.
